Investigations for the Torrington Police Department is comprised of one Detective Lieutenant and one Sergeant assigned to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation's Southeast Enforcement Team as a narcotics task force officer (T.F.O.).  Investigators for the Torrington Police Department are responsible for the investigation of major (felony) crimes as well as the management of other investigations being conducted by the Patrol Officers of the department.


Recent Crimes

      On 12/24/13 from 2200 Hrs to approximately 1030 hours on 12/25/2013  A Shop at 510 West Valley Rd was broken into. During the investigation it was found that One Remington 1918 .22 rifle, Three Makita Impact Drivers, One Dewalt Drill and One Makita Cordless Sawzall were taken during the burglary.

WANTED!

Recent Crimes

      On 07/21/13 from 2145 Hrs. to approximately 0800 Hrs. on 07/22/2013.  The Cottonwood Country Club at 2208 Golf Course Rd. was broken into.  Among the items taken were one Olive Green Army Safe, Bottles of Alcohol and approximately $24,000.00 in cash and checks. It appeared that a two wheel dolly was used to move the safe.

Ranee D. Yeargain

On or around August 09, 2004 a Female named Renee D. Yeargain was reported missing by her current boyfriend. On August 13, 2004 her vehicle along with all of her personal belongings were found at the
